How to Complete the Missing Bundle in Stardew Valley
A no-nonsense guide to unlocking the Missing Bundle, grabbing every required item, and fixing up that dusty old JojaMart.
Figuring out how to complete the Missing Bundle in Stardew Valley is one of those endgame goals that sneaks up on you. This hidden bundle hides in an abandoned building, wants six silver-quality items, and basically gives you zero hints about any of it. It's the kind of thing you can easily walk right past for a whole year if nobody tells you it's there. Been there. Done that. By the time you finish reading this, you'll know exactly what to grab and you'll walk away with one of the best rewards in the game.
The Missing Bundle is a secret, one-time bundle that only shows up after JojaMart closes. It's not one of the six Community Center rooms — it's tucked inside the old JojaMart building in Pelican Town itself. Head to the back of that dusty store and look for a strange, glowing bundle sitting on a shelf. That's the one.
What's the payoff? A Stardrop, which permanently bumps your max Energy by 34. That extra energy sounds small until you're running a big farm with crops, animals, and a million daily chores, and then it becomes the difference between calling it a night at 6 PM and actually finishing your to-do list.
Your exact shopping list, no surprises:
Every slot needs at least silver quality. Gold and iridium versions work just fine too, so if you've already got something better sitting in a chest, don't hold back.
We'll take this in chunks, because some of these items take weeks of real in-game time to line up.
Before the Missing Bundle can even appear, JojaMart has to leave town. You've got two ways to get there:
Doesn't matter which path you take. Either way the building turns into the Abandoned JojaMart, the door stays open, and you can just walk right in. No keys, no tricks.
This is where most of your time goes. Each item has its own little catch, so let's go through them.
Large Egg (Silver)
You need a standard large chicken egg — not a duck egg, not a void egg. Chickens start laying large eggs once their friendship and mood are high enough. Pet them every day, keep their food bowl full, and toss a heater in the coop during winter. Before long, silver and gold large eggs will be rolling in on their own.
Cloth (Silver)
Cloth comes from running wool through a Loom. The cloth's quality always matches the wool's quality, so silver wool is the only way to get silver cloth. Here's the trap I fell into on my first save: the Cloth slot is separate from the Wool slot. That means you actually need two pieces of silver wool total — one to drop in the Wool slot, and another to feed through the Loom.
Goat Cheese (Silver)
Stick goat milk in a Cheese Press and you get goat cheese. The cheese quality tracks the milk quality, so you need a goat with high friendship producing silver milk. Keep the goat fed, pet it daily, keep the barn warm in winter, then press that silver milk into silver goat cheese.
Wool (Silver)
Use Shears on sheep and they hand you wool. Wool quality ties to the sheep's friendship level, same as milk and eggs. Rabbits can drop wool too, but for this quest sheep are way more reliable. Raise a couple of sheep, collect wool over a few weeks, and hold onto the silver pieces.
Truffle (Silver)
Pigs dig up truffles when they're outside. The weird part? Truffle quality is tied to your Foraging level, not the pig's friendship. The easy fix is picking the Botanist profession at Level 10 Foraging — that makes every foraged item come out Iridium quality, and truffles count as foraged. Didn't pick Botanist? No panic. Just collect truffles over several days and save the silver ones.
Wine (Silver)
Kegs turn fruit into wine, and the wine comes out at the same star quality as the fruit you put in. Grab a silver-quality fruit — grapes, starfruit, ancient fruit, whatever you've got — and toss it in a Keg. Wait about a week and the silver wine is ready.
Head back to the Abandoned JojaMart, walk to the back, and interact with the Missing Bundle. You can deposit items one at a time, just like regular Community Center bundles, so there's no reason to wait until you've got all six before you start.
Once every slot is filled, the bundle disappears and you get a Stardrop. Eat it and your max Energy goes up permanently. Nice bonus, too — finishing the Missing Bundle also kicks off the Movie Theater unlock in that same old JojaMart building. Two rewards out of one quest. I'll take it.
Bringing regular quality items. The bundle wants silver or better, full stop. Regular items won't fit, and you'll just stand there poking the bundle wondering what's wrong.
Forgetting you need two silver wools. This trips up a ton of players. The Wool slot and the Cloth slot are separate, and silver cloth needs silver wool. Two pieces total.
Selling silver items by accident. Guilty. I've tossed a silver large egg straight into the shipping bin without thinking. Keep a labeled chest just for your silver stuff until you're ready to deposit.
Using a Preserves Jar instead of a Keg. A Preserves Jar makes jelly, not wine. Wine only comes from a Keg. Check the machine before you wait a whole week.
Hunting for the bundle too early. The Missing Bundle doesn't exist until JojaMart is abandoned. If you're walking into a working JojaMart, you're way too soon.
Not planning for the truffle. Without Botanist, silver truffles are basically a luck game. If you haven't picked your Level 10 Foraging profession yet, Botanist is the smart move for this quest.
Yes. As long as JojaMart closes, the Abandoned JojaMart opens up. That holds whether you finished the Community Center bundles or bought every Joja Community Development project.
Yes. The bundle only asks for silver or better, so gold and iridium versions of any item fill the slot just fine. No downside to using a better-quality item.
Absolutely. A permanent +34 max Energy is huge for endgame farming, and it also unlocks the Movie Theater. One of the best late-game rewards in Stardew Valley.
Just go get another one. There's no time limit on the Missing Bundle, so you can take days or even seasons. Double-check your inventory before selling anything silver and you'll be fine.
